Hello  my  very own  Karibu   Paradise   Zanzibar  Group..  AKA    Benito Betty Dream ..

it is now  Four years  ?  since  Benito decided to start this amazing site so a to Complete  what J.

Once again My depest gratiude and Praise for  Benito Betty and their wonderful Leader SHIP.  Imagine if Mervyn and Ben set off on a Fising trip on their own seprate Boats One for Tanzanites One for Zanzibar  and who would be the Captian of the Third  One for Goa.? 

It wa sin 2003-2004 that Jo Birkemeyer CHICAGO USA began in 2004 to prepare for SJCS REUNION  2005  Toronto Cnada.. What a marvellous effort that wa sit took two years to arrange.

Followed by  SJCS REUNION GOA 2008  - and the Souvenir Booklet put out that tells the Story of WHO WHAT WHERE WHEN ZANZIBAR GOANS began.. and why it was synonymous with ST JOSEPH CONVENT SCHOOL  in the ANGLICAN QUEEN BRITISH Protectorate.

Dr Teresa Albuquere  BOMBAY Ph D wrote a Book on Catholic in Bombay and another on her "Hometown" in GOA that has a replica of the Sultan's Place in Zanzibar where her relative Dr Albuquere MD had a Medical Clinic  to serve the Sultan nd his people- some of which were his band and others his various supporters..

 

in 2020  Jo Birkmeyer gave us notice that she could no longer keep the SJCSZanibar site goin as YAHO . Com an MADHU Gajaria voluteered to take it on through GOOGLE . Com  His brotehr Mukes lives in Toronto as he does nd soto the many Tanzanites. 

It was suggested there be a THIRD REUNION in ZANZIBAR..2023    

          

Of course with COVID  19 all things came to a halt an now we llok back SJCS Zanzibar I am told is now a FIVE STAR HOTEL   and A New School HAS indeed Come to Zanibar TEMKUJAH means YOU HAVE COME.. No Goan and No ST JOSEPH or German Precious Blood Nuns.

So one thing leads to another.. and all things are made NEW after 100 years!  

 So here we are each in their own Little Household,  Homestead,  Shamba,  Island Retreat or whatever gives us that heavenly time here on earth as all Saints have done .... especially SAINT JOSEPH !  

Imagine if the little son of his wife,  thought it best to not do as expected.. HMM  he did just that at age twelve  but was in the midst of the TeacherMasters  in the Temple of Jeruslem  ( equivalent today - Like being in a conference of Catholic Bishops in Rome at Easter,!!)   We do not hear one word of what went on from then till he Jesus was "ABOUT Thirty"    Any Baba Papa Daddy  Jose[h thinks they could win any argument against Miriam and Yeshua?    Mama and Son ?   Yet I do think that "seeing" with my own eyes  all those Goan Dads (Papa Baba Abba) 

St Joseph wa sindeed the Inspiration  ! no Mother and Son prevailed again the BWANA KUUBA  ( Big Man) who was in the language of the British "King of The Castle" 

Each Goan Man's Home was his "castle"  CASA,  even though few had other than rented spaces or Government Quarters.. 

How  fitting it was then that it was the DUKE of EDINBURG sent by HER MAJESTY  QE11 to bring down the UNION JACK and hand Zanzibar  DEC 10 1963   and Kenya December 13  63  back to its Own People.  Fireworks parties and picnis celbrated the Moment. the hour the day and the week..

 

The DUKE of Edinburgh died 2021 and was buried in WINDSOR Castle His Wife's Family Castle ( as is Edinburgh too)   She died a Year Later nd is buried in WINDSOR Castle too as are several othe Royal Members   But a little  emphasized detail is that  Prince Philip Mom ALICE was born in WINDSOR CASTLE as Granddaughter to Queen Victoria. She requested Burial In Jerusalem !  Who knows which King  may be persuaded to be just the WINDSORS   MR MRS WINDSOR Children and Grandchildren..

UK can maybe one day also be known as a   "FORMER"  once  SOVEREIGN NATION KINGDOM STATE!

It is time to get to (can be done at a COMPUTER !!) where OUR own GOAN DNA  Indigenous Ancestors  began their Journey to the Paradise .. Our Great Grandfathes  loved so Much!
