Hazel Cardozo: Medugorje Trip

What a Joy to get this Benito Thank your friend.!

I am familiar with the wonders happening there. an as usual I do have several amazing memories.

1) the first Apparitio AUG 2 1981 na Lady in our Parish in New Hampshire USA invited us to her Farm nearby for an after noon with her becuse she sai Our Lady was going to appear and bless us all..! How amazing We were of course disappointed it was not at her farm as she thought but in far away Medjugorie.. in 2000 Aug 5 day after Queen Mom 100th Birthday I visited a farm near Toronto Marmora where a family began a shrine gift shopoe and held gatherings said to be inspired by Their visit to Medujorie.

2 My family in the UK Genny sister Teresa and Joe Maybe ? were up that CROSS mountain. where there were other Pilgrims. After the usual "where are you from" ? they discovered The Priest was the one who Baptized our youngest son Micahel 1986 and Teresa( God rest her soul) is his Godmother. The rest of the group were well known to me and good friends for many reasons School Board Prayer meeting etc !Of course all knew "Dr Bosco" in that small town

3) Soon afte the wedding 2011 of my third son in the USA Joe Genny and some family were planning a trip to Medujorie. One de lord son was keen I join them and Bosco who was eager to travel as always - Instead the plan wa sended by the tragic accident that nearly killed Joe then and took his life in a different direction..

All in God 's timing. God has a reason for what happens when and what does not.- ever..

Today is the day of great joy in America from the Tip of Terrra del Fuego to the Far reaches of Alaska ..adn across to the East Coast of canada nad USA down to Brazil and Argentina The Feasting is in honor of the Lady of Mexico and Lady of Gudalupe Spain. She is the one same Lady of Fatima who came to us in late 1950 ? I was 8 year old- when we all processed around Stone Town Our Sultan bin Harub came to Greet and Garland Her ..It was All so memorable.

We did start from in front of the Cardozo Home on the Kilima north of Nazi Moja and Coopers Canteen I was behind Lally ( now my sister in law) and her veil caught fire from the candle held behind her.. unforgettable the commotion Francesca who lives here , had her sister Eva Almeida ( Now Jerry Luis widow Toronto ) was chosen to Carry the Statue as was Zita my other sister in law (the Nun in later years) a Third Dear Quitty Coutinho..4th not sure the REUNION 2008 picture had her hidden from view.

May peace Joy and Happy Advent Blessing be given our families .and all families around the globe as we prepare from the Divine Presence presents, and gifts deep inside in all present...near or far this Christmas.
