there was also a Gulamabas Sivji with a Rahemtulla with me, in the Photo we took a year or two later. I was the only girl/young woman 18 year old in the first two years doing Mathematics with about 60 young men from all over East Africa.. Rahemtulla in that class was a Genuis scoring 100% on very test! and the Professor would say once or twice .. when posing a porblem to solove "even Miss Pinto could get this" HMMM.. I once got top mark in one test ! Algebra or calculus I think but mostly was near failing the rest o the time I did get Distiction in " Senior Cambridge"

Everyone has to take English for the "General BA" but We could choose two subjects -I chose Geography and Math ..Two years later I was picked to do the Honors course in Geography for the next three years - a Seminar group of 11 eleven African young men and I. We Graduated 1963 and I and couple of others Herman Lupogo Dar Es Salaam ( a dear friend- and Later a Major in the Tanzanian Armyarmy Now deceased began Diploma in Education 63 64 The Fateful Year) President Nyerere was present at Our Graduation as wa The Last Kabaka of Uganda who handed me my Temporary Certificate .. the reak one mailed in months lastr..

George Fernandes graduated ..1962 and became Headmaster of what had been Geoge V1 Secondary/ Arab Boys School..,
In 1963 Adolph De Souza entered the same BA Hons Geog..program Adoolf Masacrenhas Dar Es Salaam did Geog years ealier was our "fearless Youth leader" when I arrived and told us what we could or could to to earn "Good Behavior staus .. No drink No smoke No bad Press for any reason as we were less than 20 Asian at that Point
.. but grew rapidly each year..after that.. a smany came from Royal Tech Nairobi.. after UHURU Tangayika..1961 and Uganda..1962
